A study has been done that further links people who work in high-stress jobs to an increase in heart attacks. This study, done by theUniversityCollegeinLondon, shows a 23% increase in the incidence of heart attacks in people with high-stress jobs. Stress from jobs has also been linked to an increased risk of diabetes and cancer and an accelerated aging process. With this in mind, it is very important to de-stress after work. Whether it is reading, exercising, playing with your pet, calling your mom, or working on your hobby, just remember to relax. It is good for your health.
